If you are familiar with the term "rocket jump" then you might have an innate appreciation for a game that bases itself on using a jetpack as a form of propulsion. Halfbrick's Jetpack Joyride has a wacky feeling that is immediately gratifying as you start to evade lasers and rockets with responsive controls and occasional power-ups. The game does a good job at adding game physics that will end up playing a role in how well you are able to perform; momentum is one such game mechanic. If you hold the screen for too long and suddenly need to descend in order avoid an electric fence, you might find yourself going too fast to get out of the way quick enough.

Jetpack Joyride also does an awesome job at making the game feel challenging and fair as you progress further into the level by rewarding skill with consistent high scores but also adding enough random hurdles to keep things fresh. You will also enjoy power-ups that, unlike other similar endless runners, are more than just a simple speed boost. Each power-up changes the way the game plays in a way that can keep each playthrough as new as the last.

Jetpack Joyride has insanely addictive gameplay that should keep you going back time after time to try to get just a bit further than last time.
